I Don't Need To Learn German Anytime Soon

The HR person just called me about that job. It's a job at a German company. Anyway, in short, I didn't get it. They want someone with 2-3 years more experience.

Let's all let out one big collective SIGH.

Sorry to hear about not getting the job.

Keep trying! The right one will come along - man and/or job. :-)

I would welcome the opportunity to work in Germany. Have you never looked at the guys on Gayromeo.com?

Still, you must be pretty good at what you do to get that kind of attention.

P.S. I didn't make fondue over the weekend after all.

Maybe German is not your forte :) LOL But, I already told you my take on this ... so on to the next one.

Yeah, sorry this one didn't work out.

oh, and i had to share that now i have a song in my head thanks to you. do you remember that car commercial that had a german song in the background and two guys driving a car with a bobblehead on the dashboard:

da-da-da. da-da-da. ich liebe dich nicht du liebst mich nicht.

or something to that effect.

at least the german company calls you back. most american companies won't even return phone calls if they are not interested.

i wonder if it is the same in the dating world...

hmm...mmonk...yes, sometimes the swiss german companies immediately reject me...the american ones never call back...
