Wow, I meant to post more than I ended up doing while I was away. But sadly, I didn't get a chance to. Even though I wasn't away for that long, I feel like I missed a lot back in NY and am so out of my routine. I seem to have missed the heat wave back here in New York, which I am very thankful for. And I have to say that San Franciscans are wimps when it comes to heat. It was hot, but not THAT hot out there. The humidity is much less, and I felt fine. At least the people out there aren't as crazy about air conditioners as people in New York are.
Anyhow, I'll be posting soon!

Most people in San Fran, even in luxury housing, don't have ACs because it's never (well, rarely) above 80 degrees there...
I actually love oppressive humidity. It makes my skin and hair feel healthy, unlike in the winter here where if you don't put lotion on your hands after washing them, you feel like a mummy.... however, I like oppressive humidity and, say, 80 degree weather...not oppressive humidity and high heat.

They have that great breeze gulf stream thing happening in San Francisco... They rarely have the humidity that we get here that is sooooo miserable.
Thank God for A/C in the Northeast!
